Planning with Purpose

Have you ever began planning something and then the planning eventually fades out? We like to say that we plan things in our life but a lot of times, it’s just talk, nothing ever comes out of it. Many plan to take a vacation, we plan budgets, we plan to have families, plan weddings and we plan to one day learn an instrument or better yet, plan to go do some type of mission work before we die.
Interesting how us humans love planning things that seem great at the moment but our planning consist more of less saying what we would like to do. So grateful on knowing a God that plans and follows through. Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. WOW! He knows the plans He has for us but doesn’t stop there, He already knows what He planned!!
He doesn’t need to write it on paper just in case He forgets the plan, He doesn’t need to think about what He is planning, it’s already in the works. He plans, He is actively working towards our life, endlessly working for our good. He doesn’t rest, He doesn’t gives up, He doesn’t forget, He doesn’t just says it, He does it!!
He gives a word and makes it happen. A plan is a scheme, program, or method worked out beforehand for the accomplishment of an objective. He has already worked things out for us!
Let’s look what He plans to do with us:
1) To prosper you- He plans for you to be fortunate or successful, especially but not limiting to one’s finances. He plans for you to thrive!!
2) He doesn’t plan to harm you- He doesn’t plan to wrong you or to be evil to you. He isn’t here to kill you nonetheless harm you. Cause you evil.
3) To give you hope- He plans for you to look forward past every negative situation with confidence that you will get your expected end. He wants you to expect the best, expect the good, expect that your God is taking care of you.
4) To give you a future- He plans to give you the best in the time to come. Your good days are just ahead of you. The best is yet to come. You haven’t lived your best days, they are ahead of you and not behind you. Stop thinking of the past and look towards your future. Your God has your future in His hands!

This verse reassures you that your God is a good God. Don’t be fearful about your life and your future. Trust in the Lord! You need to know that everything He has promised, He will fulfill! He knows the plans He has for you…
